This Bay Keramik wall vase, model 336, was made in West Germany before 1971 and still has its original raffia hanging cord with knotted tassels at each side. \u003cbr\u003e\nThe form is a flat-backed hanging vase with a classic curvy silhouette, glazed throughout in a warm mustard-yellow with subtle relief decoration on the front: a stylised foliate motif with leaf pairs branching from a central stem, picked out in darker amber where the glaze pools into the recesses. The back bears the impressed mark \"BAY W-GERMANY 336.\"\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nBay Keramik, based in Ransbach-Baumbach, was one of West Germany‘s most prolific and well-regarded mid-century pottery producers.
