SC3 is known for their distinctive marbled agateware ceramics, and this piece is a fine example of the technique: the exterior is covered in a dramatic swirling glaze of cream, rust brown, and deep black, with fine feathered lines running through each colour, creating an effect that resembles natural stone or flowing water.
