Welcome! Welcome to Old World Thrifts! I am Alexandra Adams-Venema, trading as Old World Thrifts. When we say "we", "us" or "our", we mean Old World Thrifts. Our store is powered by Shopify.
By visiting or purchasing from our store, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Who Can Shop With Us You must be of legal age in your country to make a purchase. By placing an order, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
2. Our Products All items in our shop are vintage and pre-owned. We do our best to describe and photograph each item accurately. Please note that colors may appear slightly different on screen depending on your device settings. Each item is unique, once sold, it's gone!
3. Orders When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. Your order is confirmed once payment is received. Please review your order carefully before submitting, as we may not be able to cancel it once accepted.
4. Prices All prices are in Euros. Prices may change without notice, but the price at the time of your order will always be honored. Shipping costs are added at checkout.
5. Shipping & Delivery We ship all orders with tracked shipping only. We are responsible for your order until it is handed over to the postal carrier. Once dispatched, delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier, customs, or events outside our control.
We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete address information. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the buyer is responsible for additional shipping costs.
If your package does not arrive, please contact us. We will file a search request with the carrier, please note this can take up to 6 weeks.
6. Privacy We take your privacy seriously. Please read our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your personal data.
7. Intellectual Property All content on this website, including text, photos and design, belongs to Old World Thrifts. You may not copy or use our content without permission.
8. Third-Party Links Our store may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
9. Shopify Our store is powered by Shopify. All sales are made directly with Old World Thrifts. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of your purchase.
10. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Old World Thrifts is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of our store or products.
11. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms at any time. The current version is always available on this page. Continued use of our store means you accept any changes.
12. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
