A wonderfully quirky mid century ceramic fish roaster with rich dark blue glaze and contrasting yellow accents. This sculptural vintage kitchen piece was originally designed as a fish or sardine baker, where a small tray could be slid inside the fish through the mouth opening. The ventilation holes along the back allowed steam to escape while cooking, helping fish roast evenly in the oven.
