A beautiful oval Italian majolica plate from Bassano del Grappa, each adorned with a graceful sculpted olive branch sweeping across the rim. Green and black/purple olives hang from slender painted branches among softly brushed mint and forest green leaves, all rendered in fine hand-painted detail with a high-gloss glaze that gives the fruit a wonderfully lifelike sheen. The cream white ground keeps the composition airy and elegant.
The plate carries the embossed marks "Made in Italy" and model number EW780 on the unglazed foot rim.
This plate would sit beautifully on a Mediterranean-style table, a kitchen shelf or displayed as wall decor. It pairs naturally with the zucchini plates EW774 also available in this shop.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. No chips, no cracks. Light surface marks consistent with age and occasional use.

Dieses schöne ovaler Majolika-Teller stammt aus Bassano del Grappa und zeigt je einen plastisch ausgearbeiteten Olivenzweig, der sich elegant über den Tellerrand schwingt. Grüne und schwarze Oliven hängen an zarten bemalten Ästen zwischen weich gestrichelten Blättern in Mint- und Waldgrüntönen, alles in feiner Handarbeit ausgeführt mit einem Hochglanzüberzug, der den Früchten einen täuschend echten Glanz verleiht. Der Teller tragt den eingeprägten Schriftzug "Made in Italy" sowie die Modellnummer EW780. Der Teller passt hervorragend zu den ebenfalls im Shop erhältlichen Zucchini-Tellern EW774. Zustand: sehr gut. Keine Chips, keine Risse. Leichte altersbedingte Gebrauchsspuren.
