A lovely piece of European folk craft. This hand-carved wooden wall panel depicts a flowering stem with a large dahlia-style bloom at the top in deep red and yellow, and three smaller flowers further down the stem in navy blue, yellow and red, all set against carved and painted green leaves on a warm honey-brown wood background.
The carving is confident and detailed, with each petal and leaf individually worked, and the paint applied directly to the wood in a folk art tradition that has deep roots across Germany, Austria and the Alpine regions.
The back is natural unfinished wood with visible grain, fitted with a small metal triangle hanger. This is solid wood, not a composite, and the hand-carving is genuine. No maker‘s mark or signature.

USPS takes longer (approximately 4–6 weeks), but the amount you pay me covers everything, no additional charges upon delivery.
