This striking set of three cast iron wall plaques features beautifully detailed botanical relief designs, each depicting a different plant motif: a dramatic sunflower, a composition of wheat and oat ears, and a wildflower meadow scene with clover and grasses.
One of the plaques bears a signature and date in the lower corner, reading "Klaas 1977," suggesting these were made by a named craftsperson or artist in that year. The other two plaques are consistent in style, material, and finish, and almost certainly belong to the same series.
The plaques are cast in heavy iron with a matte black finish, showing beautiful natural patina and light surface rust in places, which we have deliberately left intact as it is part of the authentic character of these pieces.
Each plaque has a small hanging hole at the top for easy wall mounting. They work beautifully displayed as a triptych, but could equally be hung individually.
These are substantial, weighty pieces with a strong graphic presence, ideal for a rustic, farmhouse, or brutalist interior.
Condition: Good vintage condition. Light surface rust and natural patina consistent with age and material, left intact intentionally. No cracks or structural damage.
