This complete set of four amber glass espresso cups and saucers was made by Vereco in France in the 1970s. Vereco was a French manufacturer of durable tempered household glassware, producing some of the most recognizable retro glass designs of the era. Their amber colored pieces in particular have become beloved by collectors and fans of mid-century modern interiors.
The cups have a distinctive squared body with a rounded handle, while the saucers are circular with a raised rim to keep the cup in place. These are proper small espresso or demitasse cups, just the right size for a strong shot.
The warm amber color glows beautifully in natural light and pairs wonderfully with natural wood, rattan, or earthy toned interiors. A lovely set to actually use, or to display as a decorative accent in a retro kitchen.
The set includes 4 cups and 4 matching saucers, all in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Light surface scratches on the saucers consistent with normal use.
