Details
These two caught my eye immediately and I have been a little reluctant to let them go ever since.
A matching pair of Fohr Keramik cachepots, model 184/15, made in West Germany in the 1960s.

The colour is that particular warm mustard-green that was a hallmark of the era, somewhere between olive and ochre depending on the light, with the relief decoration picked out in deeper green where the glaze pools into the recesses.
The pattern is a repeating band of stylised six-petalled flowers with dot accents, framed above and below by geometric borders in a basket-weave and bead pattern.
The interior is glazed in deep forest green, and the bases are glazed in warm mustard with the impressed mark 184/15 on both.

Fohr Keramik, based in Grossalmerode in Hesse, was one of West Germany‘s well-regarded mid-century producers, known for their relief-decorated earthenware in earthy glazes. These cachepots are a lovely example of their more restrained, nature-inspired work.

Type: cachepot, flower pot, planter, set of 2
Style: West German mid-century, relief earthenware
Size each: approx. 13 cm tall, 16 cm diameter (approx. 5.1" x 6.3")
Material: glazed earthenware, relief decoration
Colours: mustard yellow-green, forest green, ochre
Condition: one pot has a small chip at the foot rim, visible in the photos. Both pots show fine craquelé in the glaze on the foot, which is characteristic of this type of earthenware and not considered damage. No cracks, no further chips.
