This charming ceramic oven dish in a sculptural pear shape is one of those pieces that looks just as good on the table as it does in the oven. The deep forest green exterior glaze and clean white interior make it a striking addition to any kitchen, whether you use it for individual gratins, roasted vegetables, or simply as a serving dish straight from the oven to the table.
The organic pear silhouette with its small rounded stem nub gives it a playful, mid-century character that feels both functional and decorative. The exterior has a slightly matte, almost brushed texture typical of West German ceramic production from the 1950s. No maker's mark could be identified, though construction and glaze style are consistent with West German pottery of the period.
