This extraordinary unique hand-carved wooden sculpture represents the biblical story of the Fall of Man.
On one side, Eve is depicted with the apple and the serpent, symbolising temptation in the Garden of Eden. On the reverse, Adam is shown with a stylised plant, a symbolic reference to knowledge and human destiny.
The panel is mounted on a rotating base, allowing both sides of the scene to be displayed. Signed HM and dated 2006, this is a unique, one-of-a-kind handmade piece that blends traditional religious iconography with a modern artistic approach.
