I noticed this set because of their sweet design. Two Arcopal France bowls in classic milky white opal glass, both decorated with the same charming botanical band of wild meadow flowers: blue bellflowers (campanula), clover buds, yellow composite flowers, and broad green leaves, all outlined in fine brownish lines with a thin rust-brown rim stripe just inside the lip.
The kind of decor that looks right at home in a cottage kitchen or on an open shelf.
Arcopal is French opal glass produced by Arc International, introduced in 1958 and hugely popular through the 1970s and 1980s. It is famously strong, lightweight, and dishwasher safe. Both bowls are marked "areopal FRANCE" on the base with no pattern name.
Both bowls are in excellent vintage condition with no chips, no cracks, and no visible damage.

Small bowl: diameter 18 cm (7.1 in), height 7.8 (3.1 in)
