This is a handmade studio pottery cat figurine, covered in a beautifully textured green glaze that shifts between mossy olive and warm sage tones, with areas of pooled gloss that catch the light in the most lovely way. The face is finished in a contrasting cream glaze with hand-painted details — round black eyes, a painted nose, and delicate whisker lines that give her an almost cartoonish charm.
The piece is signed "Elle" on the lower body and bears the number 74 on the base, most likely indicating the year 1974.
