A striking Maltese art glass "lollipop" vase in sandy and blue tones with a frosted finish, handcrafted by Mdina Glass and signed on the base. This decorative design is known as the Tiger pattern, introduced in the mid-1970s by Eric Dobson and featured in Michael Harris: Mdina Glass & Isle of Wight Studio Glass by Mark Hill (p.52).
The vase displays rich sandy and deep blue tones with earthy swirls, creating a mesmerizing effect under the light. A beautiful statement piece for collectors of Maltese art glass.
