Bold, wild and completely unforgettable. This is not a necklace that whispers.
This substantial vintage statement necklace features eight large oval cone shell cabochons set in silver tone bezels, each one showing a dramatic pattern of deep chocolate brown with intricate white markings that look almost like hand-drawn brushstrokes or coral formations.
Between each shell, a small rectangular baroque freshwater pearl adds a soft, luminous contrast. The central element drops into a pendant via a pearl bar connector, ending in a large teardrop shell stone that hangs with real presence.
The natural iridescent white of the shell interior is visible on the reverse of each stone, and the photos show both sides so you can appreciate the full depth of the material.
The necklace has a lobster claw clasp with an extender chain for adjustable length. The total length is approximately 59 cm (23.2 inches), laid out in a circle of approximately 30 cm diameter from clasp to bottom of pendant. The stones are approximately 17 mm thick. The necklace weighs 189 g, giving it a genuinely commanding weight when worn.
