This little cat has a lot of personality. A hand-crafted leather coin bank in the shape of a sitting cat, covered on both sides with finely tooled and painted decorative patterns: paisley borders in deep pink and gold, scrollwork, small floral motifs, and a dark face with expressive eyes and pink inner ears.
The back of the cat features a striking diagonal panel of dark blue-black swirling scroll work contrasted against the warm tan leather body. The tail curls around to form a spiral at the base of the body.
The coin slot is on the top, set within an ornate tooled surround, and the base has a hinged leather flap with a magnetic snap closure to retrieve your coins.
The interior is lined in black fabric. This style of hand-tooled and painted leather work is characteristic of Andean craft traditions, particularly from Peru and Colombia, and was widely exported as souvenir and decorative craft from the 1970s onward.

USPS takes longer (approximately 4–6 weeks), but the amount you pay me covers everything, no additional charges upon delivery.
